We’ve got a new feature for all you Apple users out there! Starting today we’ve introduced support for Apple Pay! Apple Pay is easy to use, it’s secure, and it’s integrated right into your devices for one-click payments!
Apple Pay is an international payment method offered by Apple exclusively for users of their devices. The digital wallet allows users to make secure and simple payments to supported merchants, sites, apps, and more. With Hawk Hosts Apple Pay integration you’ll be able to use your existing wallet and stored payment methods to complete one-click invoice payments of both new orders and existing services. Apple Pay is supported on iPhone 6 and newer along with iPad Air and Pro series, as well as Apple Watch.
Apple Pay works like our existing credit card payment processing where we do not store your actual card information anywhere in our systems, and we’re never able to access the full payment details. When initiating the transaction a token is used to charge whichever card or payment source you’re using from your Apple Pay wallet, making it extremely safe and secure to complete payments using this method.
When completing your checkout or going to pay an invoice you’ll see an Apple Pay icon:

Simply click the Pay button and you’ll be prompted to select your payment source from your wallet, click ‘Complete Order’, and done! You’ve now signed up for a hosting plan using Apple Pay! Paying renewal invoices for existing services will be a similar workflow where you’ll just need to click the Pay button and follow the prompts accordingly.

Not sure if I am the only one, but I didn’t have the option to go through Apple Pay when I checked out earlier this morning for a new regular web hosting account?
Apple pay is more convenient for apple users. It’s a nice upgrade!

Were you using an Apple Pay supported device when checking out? The way it works is the Apple Pay option only shows up for devices that support it otherwise it’s not there.
