We’ve finally decided to break down and setup a Twitter account for Hawk Host. Why? Well actually for several reasons! Besides allowing us to integrate with the new website to add a splash of “freshness” – it will allow you to keep up-to-date with recent happenings here at Hawk Host. Like what you might ask?
- Company updates
- Maintenance Schedules
- Live maintenance updates (as they’re happening)
- Server emergencies (ongoing issues such as hardware failure)
- Random ramblings from staff
- Allows us to be hip and cool
Ultimately this allows us another form of communication to our customers; one in which we strive to improve. We believe communication is key to providing a quality service (that and, well quality). Hope to see you fellow nerds people following soon!

*EDIT*: I forgot to mention we got this idea from one of our customers recommending it to us – so don’t be shy in giving us some input on what YOU would like to see.

Wow….are you guys angling for “Best Web Host Ever Award”, or what????? 🙂
I just called in the read-only file system issue on Neptune. First off, Cody jumped to take care of it after I brought it to his attention via the Online chat help (coolness #1). Then after I quit the chat, I wondered, how will I stay on top of progress so I know when to resume my work? While pondering that question, I found this blog post about Twitter. Sure enough, a minute or two after I’d brought it up, Cody had posted a Twitter update saying what was going on and telling users to stay tuned (coolness #2).
I love this communication between HH and us users!!!!!! This is reason 1, 2, and 3 why I just renewed for a year after my initial 3-month trial expired!
twitter followed 🙂
It’s good to see some interest in this as a platform for communication – assuming more people become interested we may start rolling out Twitter-only promos 🙂
